- Color
- yellow; pale gold
- Nose
- When the bottle was first opened, there was an aroma of perfume. After sitting a few moments, it reminded me of other single malts but only faintly.
- Body
- Oak wood; slightly bitter.
- Palate
- Mild hints of peat.
- Finish
- Fairly long; slight burning sensation.
I am by no means any manner of connossieur: I drink what I like. I am patriotic with the wines I choose; the same applies to other beverages, so I have been meaning to try this for some time. Overall, I would have to say that for the price point, mediocre flavour and taste, you can do better with original Scotches.

It's definitely got some character, though it remains very accessible. Quite nice.
